Its nice to see something going vertical. Also, notice the foam insulation on the left side of the picture. The insulation was required to get the building to meet the new energy codes. This makes absolutely no sense to me as the building is in Las Vegas and the entire South East corner of the underground parking garage is open......

Go figure.

The task of footing excavation has been a challenge as we have hit more Caliche. The footing size also doubled as we needed to eliminate the footing drains to to non access behind the shoring.

Escondido - The Start

This project is on the corner of Sunset Rd & Escondido in Las Vegas, NV right across from McCarran Aiport.

We are constructing a (2) Storey Building (11,500 sq/ft footprint) with an underground parking garage of 24,000 sq/ft.

This property has gone through (2) zoning changes and a special use permit and has taken almost (2) years from conception to ground breaking.

It has been a struggle but now the fun begins.
